I started my career in journalism in early 2012 after working for over six years as an IT professional. During my time at AFP, I have covered all key events during Myanmar's transition from military junta-rule to quasi-democracy. Within weeks of starting in 2012, I saw Aung San Suu Kyi elected and entering parliament for the first time, before following the build-up to the historic 2015 vote and beyond. My keen interest in photography has also proven essential. During the past six years eight months, around 700 of my videos and more than 300 of my pictures have hit the AFP wire.
